Have a Plan and Make Goals: Know what you want and how you are going to get there. If you have specific goals and actions plans on how to meet them, you will be more likely to be successful. Start with small easily achievable goals. The feeling of accomplishment that you get from meeting your smaller goals will give you the inspiration that you need to keep moving forward.
Get Enough Rest: Not only do you need rest to keep your body functioning at it’s best, but also to keep a clear mind. Decide on a set time to go to bed each night. Turn off your computer, your phone and your TV and get into bed. A defined routine will help you to get the kind of rest that you need.
Drink Water: Drinking plenty of water will help you to fight off fatigue and keep you feeling fresh throughout the day.
Keep a Food Log: Know what you eat and when you eat it. Once you start to notice patterns in your eating habits you can begin to focus in on the areas that need the most improvement. Are you an emotional eater? Do you consistently skip breakfast? Do you eat midnight snacks? Using a food journal will help you to discover your relationship with food.
Have A Support System: Encourage the support of your friends and family as you to take control. Joining a group or challenge where people are working towards reaching similar goals can also help you to stay on track.
